Athletic Boosters

The Woodson Athletic Booster organization at its core is a volunteer group of servant leaders working together to keep Cavalier students in a safe and productive environment after school through sport. The Athletic Boosters attempt to foster high standards of citizenship and community involvement through the promotion of student athletic and related educational programs at Woodson High School. Through your involvement and contributions, we seek to enhance the athletic programs at Woodson, so that all of the children can have the best and most positive athletic experiences possible during their high school years.

The Boosters provide financial assistance, workforce and guidance in the active support of Woodson athletes, athletic facilities, VHSL recognized athletic teams and club teams recognized by Fairfax County Public Schools. The Boosters provide the vital financial funding required to maintain these quality programs for all of Woodson’s roughly 1,000 student-athletes. Some of the things that the Boosters pay for are: team uniforms; goals; equipment; scoreboards; maintenance to the fields; and end-of -season awards, including varsity letters and pins.

We are grateful for all of the current volunteers and are openly and actively continuing to seek new members to execute and meet our requirements and goals in support of the Woodson DSA office, Administration, Teams, and greater Cav Community.
